Full Speed Ahead Installation Compound for Carbon Components Description: The Full Speed Ahead Installation Compound for Carbon Components has been formulated to ensure the safe installation of lightweight components onto a bike. Special particles are suspended within a paste that will improve the friction between components that are clamped together so less torque is needed for safe operation. Gentle on aluminum, carbon, steel, and titanium, this paste also will prevent corrosion from building up, so if an adjustment needs to be made to the position of a part, the adjustment can be made and once the part has been torqued back down, it will not move even when riding over beaten up roads and trails. Features: Installation compound that increases the friction between surfaces, enabling the ability to lower clamping forces needed to secure a handlebar, seatpost, brake/shift levers, and other components that are getting clamped together Specially formulated paste with special micro particles suspended within allows for up to 30% less clamping torque needed to safely secure components (follow the component manufacturers recommendations for torque spec) Prevents grit, grime, and moisture from building up, and will prevent corrosion from building up and mechanically welding parts together (especially beneficial with seatposts) Creates a more secure connection so parts will not move, eliminating creaking and other unwanted noises
