This upgrade will produce a very positive engagement within the drive mechanism and improve the durability, especially if the hub is going to be installed on a heavy bike (such as a cargo bike or a tandem), used by a powerful rider that quickly wears out inexpensive hubs, and/or used on an e-bike.
